Taking pictures in the Georgina Bay and North Channel is worthless. Pictures just don’t capture the magnificence of the geography. You know how a Grand Canyon pictures looks when you take it yourself. Same here.
Along the Way
Anchoring out is like having a small child. You get up during the night to check on it.
When you’re sleeping and your wife, standing outside the boat in her thin nightgown with a flashlight at 5:00am, says ‘Could you come take a look’ it translates to ‘COME ON QUICK’. Nothing serious. yes dear had meandered too close to rocks. Solution was simple…. Stern thruster and it’s not windy, pull in some anchor rode scope.
We made coffee rather than going back to bed. Then Dale fished.

Evening Fish – Stripes. How does this happen?
BTW… A nap in the middle of the day makes one day feel like two!

Every so often it looks like a dump truck just pulled up and dumped off a large load of rocks. I imagine it is just the way it melted out of the glacier.

We didn’t see any bears or bear droppings.
Neighbors

We definitely like the North Channel better than the Georgian Bay. There are fewer cottages here and less boat traffic. This weekend is extremely busy due to the Canadian Civic Holiday 3 day weekend .
Good Night
