Along the Way

Off Toronto for an overnight to visit Mary’s friend Chanda J.

Nothing but the best. Greyhound all the way! (They were 45 minutes late due to a big traffic accident)

Play Me, I’m Yours. The Toronto debut presentation of Play Me, I’m Yours was installed for the 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games. The 41 pianos represent the 41 countries participating in the Games. Each was painted by an artist from the country it represents. The pianos are located in public parks, streets and squares for any member of the public to play and enjoy.
Play Me, I’m Yours is an artwork project by artist Luke Jerram in 2008.
Toronto was prepared for the Tobins. The JW (Jehovah’s Witness) Convention is in town. The conventions attendees were everywhere we were.

Time to connect up with Chanda. She has to be done working by now! She works over by the CN Tower.

After a cold one we were off to pick up her 4 year old daughter Vienna from day care, meet up her husband Alex and head out for supper.

Chanda and her family graciously invited us to spend the night in their condo. They live in the Distillery District of Toronto. But of course we took them up on it! We got to sleep in their loft bed that Vienna calls the Tree House.

Inspired by the green guy … We sat on the condo roof top patio and watched the night settle in.
